Snowy River Gorge

On the west bank of the Snowy River in the Snowy River Gorge, Victoria, the region of spectacular limestone cliffs and caves has become known as New Guinea because of its rainforest-covered rugged terrain. One of the caves, New Guinea 2, has been found to have an aboriginal occupation site.
