Australia: The Land Where Time Began

A biography of the Australian continent 

This is a deep-sea incursion towards the east coast of Australia at the Tropic of Capricorn. It acts as a sand trap, preventing sand carried north by the northward-flowing along-shore current to reach the Barrier Reef. If the sand got further north it would smother the Barrier Reef.
