A biography of the Australian continent

Curia Julia, Rome

Curia Julia, Rome

The Curia was originally built as a meeting place by King Tullio Ostilio and then rebuilt by Silla and Caesar (thus Curia Julia). Here the Roman Senators met and it was one of the last pagan buildings of Rome (the statue of Victory was there) to be turned into a church (in 625).
