Fish-Tetrapod Nature 444, 199-202, 9 Nov 2006 The discovery in the Western Australian Late Devonian Gogo Formation of the most complete remains of a fish called Gogonasus, shows that it had a number of the characteristics of early tetrapods, and at an age of about 380 million years it is the earliest known tetrapod-like fish so far discovered.
