Flinders Chase National Park

The largest national park on Kangaroo Island. It was one of the first national parks in South Australia, noted for its abundant wildlife, the natural beauty of its remote walks and rock formations. There are many rare birds in the park's forests.

One of the island's most popular spots is called Remarkable Rocks, a pile of tors on a granite dome, the tors having been sculpted into bizarre shapes by the wind and in times past, by the ocean when the sea level was higher than now.
