Australia: The Land Where Time Began

A biography of the Australian continent 

Mononychus olecranus Alvarezsauridae  Late Cretaceous, 'A single claw, with a well-developed olecranon'

It was about 1 m long and possibly and was possibly insectivorous. It had long pennaceous (contour feather) tail feathers and the feathering of its neck was dense.  They had a single large claw in their arms and well-developed olecranon (funny bone).
