Australia: The Land Where Time Began
Darwin glass was found in layers of this deposit that dated from 13,410 +/- 330 years ago, 18,060 +/- 310, 27,250 +/-530 and 29,700 +/- 860 years ago. Chert in the deposit came from a site 45 km away. ((Allen et al., 1989b; Holdaway & Porch, 1996; Porch & Allen 1995; Sheppard, 1997).
