Plagisauridae These are characterised by the pustular ornamentation on their bone surfaces, and the spool-shapes centra of the spine. They are mostly known from well-preserved skeletons form Germany and Africa. Plagiobatrachus australis This species is known from bone scraps from Triassic Vertebrate sites in Queensland. It has been estimated to be about 1-2 m long. The bones of the spine are shaped like cotton-spools without a large central hole for the notochord. The surface ornamentation was very pustular, a distinct feature of the plagiosaurids. John A Long, Dinosaurs of Australia and New Zealand, University of New South Wales Press
