Punipunil Rock Shelter

Punipunil is a long narrow rock shelter within a sheltered gorge (Atchison, 2000). Early to Mid-Holocene ages for the sequences were obtained by radiocarbon dating of fruit tree seeds at both Granilpi and Punipunil rock shelter excavations (Atchison, 2000).
