Australia: The Land Where Time Began
It is 22 km north of Caboolture, Queensland. It is the highest of the volcanic plugs, a column of trachyte, that comprise the Glasshouse. Mountains. The higher of its 2 peaks is 556 m.
According to local Aboriginal mythology, Mt Beerwah was the mother, and Mt Tibrogargan to father, of the other peaks in the Glasshouse Mountains.
